Swords... I always fascinated with them...
By the way, this is just a sword that suddenly popped out of my mind.

I know it's really simple, but hey, I'm just a newbie...

Well, critiques' are always accepted!

Wonderful blade actually o.o I'm impressed, is this your own orignal design?

And if so, would you let me attempt to make it in 3D?

Yeah it's my own design. I get obsessed with huge switchblades after watching FF VII: AC, so somehow I get this sword done...

Go ahead! I'm actually thankful for that! :D

What's the materials used in the handle? It kinda looks like wrapped clothe to make the grip. And how exactly are the two blades secured to one another for normal and siege mode's? That way I can produce it correctly in 3D

Yup, the handle used a wrapped leather cloth (Yes, I know it's far from what it seems to be).

The locking system? It uses a slide lock, for an example to unlock the Secondary blade, first you rotate the Primary blade's handle, that unlocks the slide, than move the Secondary blade upward a little to completely separate it. (Don't ask for the mechanism, I'm completely blanked on Engineering.)

As for entering Siege mode... Uh... Never thought about that. It's just somehow when it's ready, the edges shift outwards then lock itself.

I can just see this in something like a "Power Rangers" series (that's meant as a compliment).
Its wielder strikes a pose with the sword in Dual Mode, and says, "Excelion Dual Mode! Second Blade Extend!" And the Secondary Blade extends.
Awesomely done, Deviant!

Thanks! :D
(btw, I love Power Rangers, so it's okay ;). Somehow I could instantly pictured it in my head...)
